Yes! Some of our most enthusiastic fans are seniors and young children. Children must be at least 102cm/40″ tall in order to ride. Our oldest rider to date was 104 years old!
The FlyOver Canada experience is a gentle ride. Guests sit in chairlift-style seats and are elevated before a large, spherical screen. The visuals are enhanced by special effects, including wind and scents, to create the illusion of actually flying over the landscape. The experience is suitable for young children (must be 102 cm/40″ tall) and seniors alike. Although most people don’t experience any issues with the motion or the elevation – even those who, at times, experience such difficulties – a very small percentage of the public may find it uncomfortable. Therefore, if you are particularly susceptible to motion sickness or fear of heights, you may wish to consider refraining from participating.
Industry guidelines advise that pregnant women should not participate in motion rides. Although FlyOver Canada is a very gentle motion ride, we follow the industry guidelines and ask expectant mothers to refrain from taking the ride.

Yes! However, please note that FlyOver Canada features an amusement ride involving motion. Our guests who use wheelchairs may go on the Ultimate Flying Ride only if they are able to transfer from their wheelchair to the ride seat by themselves or with the assistance of a companion. Otherwise, you may enjoy the flight ride from a stationary position on the ride platform, accompanied by one of our flight guides. For safety reasons, in this situation, companions must go on the ride or wait off the ride platform. We ask that guests who will be arriving in wheelchairs please contact us in advance of their visit. There is no admission fee for a companion who is accompanying a paying guest using a wheelchair. For more information, please see Guest Accessibility.

Seat width: 53 cm (21 inches). Seatbelt length: 157 cm (62 inches).

The experience requires standing for between 20 and 30 minutes, and ascending and descending stairs. If you anticipate having difficulty with standing for 30 minutes, upon arriving at the attraction, please advise one of our Flight Guides, and they will accommodate you to the best of their ability, by providing a folding chair at certain points and minimizing the number of stairs you will have to climb or, if necessary, they will assist you in using our internal lift.

Please note that FlyOver Canada is located several hundred meters from the street. If you have walking difficulties, you might consider using the underground parking and the elevator lift at the north end of the parkade.

If a child is too small to ride, we have a Parent Swap ticket available. The entire group will split up into two groups. The first group will go and experience the ride and the second group will stay with the child and receive a Parent Swap ticket. When the first group exits, the second group will present the Parent Swap ticket and admissions to the scanner. While the second group experiences the ride, the first group will watch the child.

You will join the queue at this time and you will then enter the ride within 30 minutes.

Bring your confirmation to our on-site ticketing booth, and your tickets will be printed for you.

Your ticket needs to be exchanged and it will be subject to availability and to the incremental change in price based on the new date selected. In the case that you select a date that is lower in price than your original ticket, that difference will be refunded. Please call our team at 1.855.463.4822 or visit one of our ticket desks onsite and they will be happy to assist you.

We offer discounts for groups of 15 or more people. See Group Events for more information.

BC Locals Rate is applicable to anyone with valid British Columbia identification. If one person in your group has a valid BC ID, everyone in the group is eligible to receive the BC Locals Rates. Proof of identification is required when on site and cannot be combined with any other offer.

BC Locals Rate applies to both single-ride and dual-ride tickets. Proof of identification is required when on site and cannot be combined with any other offer.

Sadly, no. While we crossed the entire country to produce FlyOver Canada, it was impossible to include everything, and in a few locations the weather didn’t cooperate with our film crew. You will visit both coasts and the Canadian North, and many wonderful spots in between. Meanwhile, we are excitedly discussing lots of places to include in the next version of FlyOver Canada, and we look forward to future opportunities to showcase more of our great country.
We are delighted to hear that so many people wish the FlyOver Canada experience would last longer; however, industry research shows that a significant percentage of the population experiences discomfort on motion rides that last longer than 8 minutes or thereabouts. To date, FlyOver Canada is the longest ride of its kind that exists anywhere in the world.
